3 Simple [CLASSICAL] Music Game for Kids!

3 Simple [CLASSICAL] Music Game for Kids!

Looking for fun, easy music activities to kick off your baby's music journey? Here are 3 favourites:

1. Dance or play Musical "Bobs" to Classical Music

Put on any Mozart piece from Spotify or even top 100 classical songs. If your child is a baby, hold them in your arms and dance with them to classical music tunes. If your child is a toddler or a kid, play Musical Bobs with the whole family on a Friday night! The idea is you play any classical music tune and then "pause" the song. The last person in the family to "bob" down loses!

If your student/child already knows how to play a classical instrument, get them to "play the music" and "pause" for the family to bob down. But the catch is... they have to continue from the same spot!

2. Musical Colouring/Drawing

Get your kids to start colouring or tracing rhythm symbols, such as Crotchets, Minims or even a keyboard! Muso Music Publishing will be launching Muso Colouring Books in 2025. But honestly, you can just print anything on Google for your kids!

If your student/child is already learning a classical instrument, then get them to colour a "character" e.g. dinosaurs or monsters/fairies related to the piece of music! This will help them "understand" the story better and learn to be more expressive.

3. Muso Music Flash Cards

This is our favourite of course. Purchase a set of Muso Flash Cards from www.musomusicpublishing.com and start learning how to read music notes on the piano or keyboard! These are the BEST set because they are kid-friendly, splash proof, bite proof and look attractive and "FUN" to kids.

If your kids know how to say the alphabet "ABCDEFG" then of COURSE they can start on music flash cards! What's even better - if you are a parent who doesn't know any music notes, you can head to www.musomethod.app and create a FREE account to join the Muso2Six Challenge that happens every 2 months.

The Muso2Six Challenge is for parents/kids or adult learners who wants to learn 2 octaves of notes in SIX weeks.
