PJ, Malaysia Muso Masterclass Series (Kids & Teacher) by Muso Music Academy

Let’s learn music in a FUN and SERIOUS way! The FIRST ever Muso Masterclass Series in PJ, MALAYSIA will be run by Lawrence Ng and Isabelle Ng. We promise laughter, music wisdom and fun piano teaching!

There will be TWO sessions.

Teacher Piano Workshop

Friday 29/9 @10:30am to 12:30pm

Program

  • part 1: how to teach beginners & improve sight reading skills, using Muso Music Flash Cards
  • part 2: how to teach your kids in a fun way (teacher perspective)

Ticket

  • any music student in university, aspiring or current music teacher can attend
  • ONE ticket purchase is 150MYR
  • you can get a FREE Muso Music Flashcard Set

What to Bring

  • a BIG SMILE!
  • any music scores you want to ask questions about, one pencil
  • filming is allowed, but you cannot go on your phone otherwise

Kids Interactive Piano Workshop

Sun 1/10 @ 3:30-5:30pm

Program

  • part 1: how to improve sight reading skills for beginners, using Muso Music Flash Cards (45 mins)
  • part 2: how to improve your piece in a technical and musical way (1 hour+)

*randomly selected students from preliminary to grade 8 will perform and gain feedback

*beginner students can leave during part 2, especially those who cannot sit still for a long time

Ticket (first come, first serve)

  • any focused student* from 4-18 years old can attend
  • beginner students to experienced students can attend
  • ONE ticket purchase is 150MYR
  • If your child is beginner, they can get a FREE Muso Music Flashcard Set
  • every child can bring ONE guardian/parent (preferably the one that helps them practice at home)

*a focus student is defined one who can sit silently for most of the time

*unfortunately any kid who tends to interrupt classes will be kindly asked to leave

What to Bring

  • a BIG SMILE!
  • beginner students: nothing
  • preliminary to grade 8 students: FOUR clean music score copies, one pencil
  • filming is allowed, but students and parents cannot go on their phones
